You definitely were right to post this, great example.  Smart corporations empower their frontline people to make decisions, and train them to be able to do so.  Customer service is the ultimate marketing tool

My first job out of high school was at Home Depot, when they still stood for customer service. I think every retail worker should go through reversal training where they should go through what we have to when we shop and propose solutions... Yeah, actually think.</description>
