I love my Compass, it's American, reasonably priced, handles well on highways and on dirt roads yet small enough to park in tight spaces in the city, and comfortable enough for a young family. Would love a Wrangler but this fits our current lifestyle better, and it's easy on the budget.

I have a 1996 "Electric Blue" - that's what my wife calls the color - Jeep Cherokee with almost 215,000 miles which I just love. I have had to do some maintenance over the years bur nothing drastic.

It doesn't leak oil and doesn't use oil. The rides a little rough to those tha tsre used to the new breed SUV's but hey, it's a Jeep.

Don't know what I'll do when I have to replace it.
